Our milestones and successes
Franz Grimme's vision has shaped us since 1987: He recognized early on the enormous potential of polyurethane to replace heavy steel and metal castings in agricultural technology. This innovative spirit and the quest for the best solution still drive us today.


1987
Founding & Vision
Franz Grimme takes over INTERNORM Walzen GmbH and lays the foundation for today's company at the “Alte Schmiede” in Damme.
1988
First casting plant
Just one year after the takeover, investments are made in the first ultra-modern casting plant — a clear commitment to the highest manufacturing quality.


1993
International market entry
INTERNORM starts to deliver its products and solutions across national borders and gains customers on the international market.
1995
Investing in injection moulding
The first injection moulding plant significantly expands the technological portfolio and creates the basis for a wider range of products.


2003
New location, new name
The move to the current, larger location and the change of name to INTERNORM Kunststofftechnik GmbH create the conditions for future growth.
2010
Expansion of storage capacities
Expanding the warehouse by 2,750 m² will optimize logistics processes and further increase delivery capacity for our customers.


2012
Extension of the office building
The comprehensive extension of the office building creates modern space for growing teams in development, administration and sales.
2021
Start of the second generation
Philipp Grimme joins the company as managing director and sets the course for a stable and innovative future.


2023
Expanding production
The expansion of the production hall is a clear commitment to the Damme location and to the “Made in Germany” manufacturing depth.
2025
Expansion of management
Frank Robin is appointed managing director in addition to Philipp Grimme in order to jointly drive growth and strategic development.
